The MT-FC4100SFP Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter bridges 1000Base-X fiber to 10/100/1000Base-T copper networks, enabling fiber extensions up to 2KM (Multimode) or 160KM (Single Mode/WDM) via SFP modules. It features integrated LED indicators (Power, Link, Activity, Speed) for easy status monitoring and maintenance, helping reduce network downtime. With built-in Link Fault Pass-through (LFP) technology, the MT-FC4100SFP enhances troubleshooting efficiency and network reliability. Supporting chassis installation, it is a flexible solution for ISP infrastructures and small office deployments. It is also compatible with various transceivers, including 1000Base SFP, BIDI, and CWDM modules. Be sure that the wavelength, speed rate, and the distance of the transceiver modules used at both ends of the media converter are consistent.
